Students have the opportunity to learn more about faculty research during the Faculty Exhibition and Research Lecture Series...

Faculty Exhibition & Research Lecture Series

Outside of the classroom, faculty members in the Department of Art, Art History, and Design are active artists and scholars that make significant contributions to the arts.

They regularly exhibit in venues across the globe, from Michigan to New York to South Korea and speak at major conferences in their fields.  Collectively, our faculty have received recognition and support from Fulbright, National Endowment for the Arts, National Endowment for the Humanities, and the Pollack-Krasner Foundation.

The Department of Art, Art History, and Design Faculty Triennial Exhibtion provides students and the public an opportunity to view recent work created by the tenure stream Department of Art, Art History, and Design Faculty members whose primary resarch output is studio based.  In conjunction with the Faculty Triennial Exhibtion, faculty members teaching in Art History & Visual Culture and Apparel & Textile Design will present their scholarly research in a series of lectures throughout the year.

The next Department of Art, Art History, and Design Faculty Triennial Exhibtion is scheduled for February 20, 2015- March 29, 2015 at the Eli and Edythe Broad Art Museum at Michigan State University.  Check back for more details.
