Exhibitions

 

The Department of Art, Art History, and Design programs and operates exhibition spaces in the Kresge Art Center located on the main campus of Michigan State University and (SCENE) Metrospace located in downtown East Lansing.

 

The Kresge Art Center Gallery 101 & Gallery 114 feature group and solo Department of Art, Art History, and Design Undergraduate and Graduate students exhibitions throughout the academic year. The galleries are free and open to the public Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM. The Galleries are easily accessible through the front entrance of the Kresge Art Center at 600 Auditorium Road, East Lansing, MI 48824.

 

(SCENE) Metrospace features 6-week themed exhibitions during the academic year and throughout the summer. (SCENE) Metrospace exhibits the work of contemporary artists making work on campus, in the community, and across the nation. The gallery is located just off Grand River Avenue at 110 Charles Street, East Lansing, MI 48823. The gallery is free to visit and open to the public. During exhibitions the space is open Thursday 3-7PM, Friday 1-7PM, Saturday from 12-5PM, and Sunday 12-5PM.

 

The MSU Union Art Gallery features 8-week themed exhibitions during the academic year and throughout the summer. The MSU Union Art Gallery exhibits the work of AAHD Alumni and contemporary artists making work on campus, in the community, and across the nation. The gallery is located just off Grand River Avenue in the MSU Union at 40 Abbott Road, Room 230 East Lansing, MI 48824. The gallery is free to visit and open to the public. During exhibitions the space is open Monday thru Thursday 12-5PM, Friday 12-7PM, and Saturday 10AM-2PM.
