Graphic Designer John Caserta to Lecture on January 31


The Department of Art | Art History | Design at Michigan State University is pleased to announce the visit of artist JOHN CASERTA.   Caserta will present his scholarly research in a public lecture on January 31 at 7:00 PM in South Kedzie Hall, 107. 


Graphic designer and RISD faculty member John Caserta generates informational design for new media and print with clients ranging from the Rockefeller Foundation to the New York Times.  He is the recipient of a Fulbright and his work has been acknowledged byAIGA 365Communication Arts, and How Magazine. 

Art | Art History | Design offers a robust slate of lectures by internationally recognized leaders in the field of art and design each year.  This Guest Lecture Series invites approximately 20 artists, scholars, and critics to campus.  During their visit, invited guests present their scholarly and creative research in a public lecture.  Planned alongside the lectures are a variety of activities designed to provide students the opportunity to further engage with the lecturer.  This associated programing ranges from workshops and class visits to panel discussions to exhibitions.  Graduate and advanced undergraduate students also have opportunities to participate in individual studio visits and group critiques with the guest lecturer.
