University faculty and students are eligible to use the materials and resources managed by the Visual Resources Library.  Check out policies and links for further information are noted below.  



The slide collection is located in room 31 of the Kresge Art Center. The collection is open Monday-Thursday 9 am - 5 pm, and Friday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. Selected slides will be held in reserve for up to 5 days until they are ready for classroom presentation. When the presentation is over, materials must be returned immediately.


Videos and DVDs

Faculty and Graduate Assistants may make selections from the VRL Video and DVD collections. Sign out sheets for materials and equipment are available in Room 32. Videos and DVDs may be borrowed for a period of 24-hours. When the presentation is over, materials must be returned.


Cameras, Lenses, and Other Equipment

Faculty and students who are currently enrolled in an Art | Art History | Design course may check out digital SLR cameras, MiniDV digital video cameras, lenses, sound equipment, projectors and other items from Alex Nichols in room 32 of the Kresge Art Center. Maximum checkout duration varies depending on the specific item and availability.
