The artists featured in Reconfigure represent a cross-section of regional artistic practices with a broad range of aesthetic and conceptual concerns all relating to the depiction of the human form. While these works are linked with the inclusion of the figure each explores form though different modes of expression and medium. Work in the space is stretched, condensed, stacked, consumed, and disassembled allowing the viewer to discover new narratives and revealing relationships between individual works. This exhibition brings together the work of Steve Barber, Mark Chatterley, Ilene Curts, Curt LaCross, and Bruce Thayer creating a platform for an ongoing, generative conversation in which we are invited to be participants.
