Comfort, heal, advocate, and educate through community-participatory art
October 25-December 15, 2018
Reception October 28, 1-3 PM
The Teal Quilt Project aims to create one quilt for each of the c. 300+ MSU survivors and to provide public opportunities for members of the greater Lansing area community to individually and collectively heal through participatory art-making and to learn about child abuse.
Individuals are encouraged to join in this project by making quilt tops and quilts or donating funds to support the project. A portion of funds donated goes to Small Talk to support its mission of helping survivors heal from abuse.
For specific information on making a quilt for the project, to find out about community quilt making events, or to donate funds, go to The Teal Quilt Project/Small Talk https://www.smalltalkcac.org; The Teal Project Facebook page; or email: tealquiltproject@gmail.com.
