Second Year MFA Candidate Solo Exhibition

October 30th -November 10th, 2023

Kresge Art Center Gallery 114

This body of work captures experiences of the everyday and transforms them into objects of beauty. The dichotomies of interior/exterior, pain/pleasure, and preservation/decay serve as framing devices which guide exploration. Through recording, mapping, and collecting, the works document small gestures, daily rituals, and ephemeral moments. This process examines how experiences of intimacy, love, touch, and memory shape us, while suggesting a way of moving through the world with greater sensitivity and care.
