Panopoly is a board game that represent how countries demonstrate their wealth and technologies by renting pandas. The game is made based on the classic monopoly that players would buy and sell zoos to rent pandas and accumulate money.

In a classic monopoly, players buy land and build houses if he owns the land. In the panopoly, players can buy zoos and bamboo farms. Then players can accumulate money to rent pandas just like building houses in a classic monopoly. Bamboo Farms replace the railroads in a classic monopoly. In addition, the two utilities are changed from electric company and water works to panda clinic and panda nursery house.

These are designed based on the requirements of keeping pandas in real-life. Countries should be able to get large amount of bamboos for pandas to consume. Countries should also have some panda specialists to take care of pandas.

If a player rent a panda and put it in one of his zoos, that zoo’s ticket cost would increase. This is based on how real-life zoos earn large number of visitors after a pair of pandas arrived. In this format, I can show the concept of how countries use pandas to demonstrate their wealth, technology and power.
